I've signed a letter to Sadiq Khan demanding he drop his ludicrous threat to charge drivers up to £5.50 to enter Greater London.
Sadiq Khan's boundary charge proposal would deliver a hammer blow to outer London's businesses. They rely on people driving into the capital to shop and work. It will jeopardise people's livelihoods and our recovery.
This outrageous charge will have serious consequences for the Orpington constituency. It will tax our deep ties to Swanley, Sevenoaks, Kent and Surrey. As your MP, I will do everything I can to stop it.
However, Sadiq Khan does have the power to introduce this charge. So I would encourage you to sign this petition to show that the scale of opposition to this damaging proposal.
