Stop Sadiq Khan's Greater London ULEZ expansion plan

On 29 August 2023, Sadiq Khan plans to expand the Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) across Greater London, including the Orpington constituency.

If you drive an older vehicle, you may have to pay £12.50 a day to drive within Greater London under the Mayor's plans. You can check whether your vehicle is compliant by entering your number plate in Transport for London's vehicle check service. If you fail to pay the ULEZ charge, the Mayor plans to fine you £180 each time.

Currently, the ULEZ charge is only imposed in the Congestion Charge zone and up to the North and South Circular roads. If the Mayor's plan goes ahead, it will cover the whole of Greater London, including the London Borough of Bromley.

When household bills are rising due to inflation and global supply problems, the Mayor's plan will hit the poorest in our community hardest. It will punish people, small businesses, and charities who cannot afford a new vehicle to raise money for Sadiq Khan's failing administration.

As your Member of Parliament, I will do everything I can to stop Khan's plan. However, it is within the Mayor's power to impose such a charge. That's why I need your help.

You can help stop Sadiq Khan's ULEZ expansion by signing my petition below, demonstrating the level of opposition to the expansion of ULEZ. Sign the petition. Stop Sadiq Khan's new tax.
