This evening Prime Minister Liz Truss laid out the three priorities of her new Conservative Government as she stepped into Downing Street.
To deliver for the British people, she will cut taxes and reform to grow our economy, help people with sky-high energy bills and secure our energy supply, and ensure people can see a doctor and get the NHS services they need.
We are living in turbulent times. Vladimir Putin’s appalling war in Ukraine and the fallout from the coronavirus pandemic are driving food and energy prices up.
But I believe, like the Prime Minister, that if we deliver on the economy, energy security, and get Britain working, we can overcome the challenges facing us.
The Prime Minister has my full support, and I look forward to working with the new government it delivers for Orpington and the surrounding villages. Let’s unite and deliver.
