Gareth Bacon, congratulated the schools, saying: “Congratulations to the pupils and teachers of the eleven Orpington primary schools which saw their Key Stage two results rise last year. We are very lucky to have so many brilliant schools in our area.

“In 2016, the government introduced more rigorous assessments which have brought England’s primary education in line with the rest of the world. It’s excellent to see that since then, more and more children in Orpington are meeting the high expectation it sets and succeeding in their education.”
